About me…
I’m Elle, the founder of Candidly Caught, a London based wedding content creation business. I’ve been a content creator for 4 years and when a friend of mine asked me to use my creative and content skills to capture her big day I was ecstatic, and Candidly Caught was born!
I film with an iPhone 15 Pro Max using a state of the art DJI Gimbal (to keep steady & get the best angles) but I also use a genuine 2000’s camcorder to capture memories through that nostalgic lens. Venue and weather permitting I can also capture stunning shots from the sky with my drone.
I adore weddings and love nothing more than celebrating love with beautiful people and hyping them up- whether it’s during those tingly moments of pre-ceremony nerves, special memories with loved ones, or partying away with all of your people surrounding you on the dancefloor.
I’m partial to a dance so don’t be surprised to see me hanging around for a boogey at the end…
The days of sitting around a DVD player watching hours of wedding footage are over (phew!), but sometimes, photos aren’t quite enough to capture the whole moment! I capture the candid, natural, BTS moments of your big day, creating tailored and unique videos for you to cherish forever.
I provide you with a suite of raw footage the very next day, so you can relive the moment from the POV of a guest, with your curated video in your hands within 48 hours of saying ‘I do’.
Think of me as your personal paparazzi, cheerleader and substitute BFF whilst yours is unplugged and off duty for the day!
What is a wedding content creator?
FAQs
How long do I need a wedding content creator for?
This is totally up to your personal preference. A Silver Package is best suited to capturing the ‘getting ready moments’ and the ceremony. The Platinum Package is designed to capture the whole entire day, from the preparation all the way through to the first dance and the party. The Gold is somewhere in the middle!
Do you replace a photographer?
No! Your photographer provides you with hundreds of high quality and professional photos, usually in a 10-16 week window.
I work seamlessly alongside them to capture the spontaneous, behind-the-scenes moments that may not make it into the final, polished portfolio.
What’s the difference between a wedding content creator and a videographer?
A videographer is more formal and curated and will provide an exquisite, polished, longer form video of your day. Shot in landscape, they can be up to 30 minutes long. They will usually cost anything from £2000-£6000.
A content creator is a modern, natural way to capture your day, for those who want more of a POV / BTS style video.
What if we run out of time?
Every wedding is unique and the itinerary of the day can vary wildly, or of course, delays can happen!
We will pre-agree beforehand if you would like me to stay up until a certain point (eg: the first dance), at a cost of £85 per hour for anything over your chosen package. This way you don’t have to worry that anything will be missed.
Where do you cover?
I’m London based so travel within zones 1-6 is free of charge. Anything outside of that will incur an extra travel fee, depending on the distance.
I would love to join your destination wedding, so please enquire to chat about this on a case by case basis.
